Prof. Erika de Wet is professor of international law and head of the Institute for International Law and International Relations at the University of Graz. She is also Honorary Professor in the Faculty of Law, University of Bonn, Germany. Since October 2020 Prof. de Wet is Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Max Planck Yearbook of United Nations Law.

Prof. James Green joined Bristol Law School in July 2021. Prior to this, he worked at the University of Reading (2006–2021). Prof. Green is the co-editor-in-chief of the Journal on the Use of Force and International Law, co-rapporteur of the International Law Association’s Use of Force: Military Assistance on Request Committee and sits on the Advisory Council for the Institute for International Peace and Security Law (Cologne, Germany). 

Prof. Tom Ruys is a professor of international law at Ghent University. Prof. Ruys is co-editor-in-chief of the Journal on the Use of Force and International Law and vice-director of the Military Law and Law of War Review . He is also the vice-president of the Belgian Society of International Law and co-rapporteur of the International Law Association’s Committee on the Use of Force: Military Assistance on Request.

Prof. Niels Blokker is professor of international institutional law to the Schermers Chair at the Grotius Centre for International Legal Studies, Leiden University. In 2000, Prof. Blokker was appointed as Senior Legal Counsel to the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs and between 2007 and 2013 he was deputy legal advisor there. Prof. Blokker is also co-founder and co-editor-in-chief of the .

Dr Russell Buchan is Senior Lecturer in International Law at the University of Sheffield, UK. Dr Buchan has published widely in the field of public international law, including three monographs. He is also a co-editor (along with Nicholas Tsagourias) of the Research Handbook on International Law and Cyberspace (Edward Elgar, 2021) and a co-editor in chief of the Journal of International Humanitarian Legal Studies.

Prof. Dire Tladi is professor of international law and chair of the South African Research Chair in International Constitutional Law, University of Pretoria and a Member of the UN International Law Commission. Prof. Tladi is also a Fellow at the Institute of Comparative and International Law in Africa (University of Pretoria), an Advocate of the High Court of South Africa, and between 2009 and 2013 he served as legal advisor to the South African Permanent Mission to the United Nations.
