By plane
If you are planning to travel by plane, you will likely arrive at the international airport Václav Havel Airport Prague (PRG) or Vienna Airport (Austria, VIE). Especially the Prague airport can be reached very conveniently (direct and frequent trains between Olomouc - Prague).

How to get from the Vaclav Havel Prague Airport to Olomouc
Airport Express (AE):
From Terminal 1 or 2 to Main Railway Station (Hlavní nádraží) – approx. 40min
Operates every day from 5:30 am – 10:00 pm
Bus line 119: The bus will take you from Prague Airport to Nádraží Veleslavín station, then you continue by Metro to Hlavní nádraží station (Metro line C). The ticket for bus applies to Metro as well.
By car
Olomouc is also conveniently accessible by car from Prague (approx. 3h), Vienna (approx. 2h 35min), Poland and Slovakia.
By train
Travelling from Prague to Olomouc by train is the fastest and most comfortable way and that is why we suggest you go for this option. The trip from the airport to the main train station will take you approximately 1 hour, the journey by train from Prague to Olomouc 2,5 – 3 hours (depending on the company/type of the train you take). A single ticket from Prague to Olomouc is cca. 20EUR.
There are three railway companies operating in the Czech Republic: České Dráhy, Leo Express and RegioJet. Tickets can be purchased online in advance or at the main train station in Prague at the ČD Centrum or at the offices of the respective private company, all located at the ground floor of the train station.

By bus
